China has denied allegations that NATO is a military threat

China has denied allegations that the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is a military threat to the world.

Leaders of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) have discussed various issues in Brussels.
During the talks, the leaders of the group condemned China’s rapid development of other weapons, including nuclear weapons.
The leaders said Beijing’s lack of clarity on its weapons of mass destruction, especially its military cooperation with Russia, has raised concerns.

China, for its part, has dismissed allegations by NATO member states that Beijing’s military capabilities are a threat to the world.
She reaffirmed that Beijing will continue to use new and modern technologies to modernize its military capabilities.

However, Beijing said it had no plans to pose a strategic obstacle or a military threat to any country.
She also warned members of the group to stop their misconceptions that China is a threat to the world.
